Privacy Policy

Cylvex LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Cylvex mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

Account Information

Email address, username, and display name provided during registration via Supabase Auth. If you use Apple Sign-In, we receive only the information Apple shares (email, name).

Portfolio Data

Stock holdings, watchlist selections, target prices, and simulation history that you enter into the app. This data is user-provided and not connected to any brokerage account.

Usage Data

App interactions, feature usage patterns, and simulation history for the purpose of improving the service.

Device Information

Device type, operating system version, and app version collected for bug fixing and compatibility purposes.

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account details, brokerage credentials, or real trading data. Cylvex is a simulation platform and never connects to your brokerage.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Cylvex service
• Generate Cylvex Score and portfolio simulation results
• Send notifications you have opted into (fully configurable in Settings)
• Aggregate anonymous analytics to improve features
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database hosting and authentication
• Polygon.io (Massive) — Market data (stock prices, news)
• Financial Modeling Prep — Analyst data (targets, ratings, estimates)
• Apple / Google — Authentication and app distribution

We do not share your personal portfolio data with data providers. Data providers supply market information to us; they do not receive your user data.

• Data is stored on Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure
• Row Level Security (RLS) ensures users can only access their own data
• All data transmitted over HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are never stored in plaintext (Supabase Auth handles secure hashing)
• We follow industry-standard practices to protect your information

All Users

• Access: View your data within the app at any time
• Deletion:Request account deletion via Settings > Delete Account (processed within 30 days)
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting support
• Correction: Update your profile information directly in the app

GDPR Rights (EU Users)

If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to erasure, right to data portability, and right to restrict processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

CCPA Rights (California Users)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Mobile App: The Cylvex mobile app does not use browser cookies. Local storage is used only for user preferences and authentication state.

Website: We use essential cookies only for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. No advertising SDKs are integrated at this time.

Cylvex is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
