MP Materials and USA Rare Earth stocks surged on news of a U.S.-Denmark-Greenland defense agreement, but neither company has any assets or direct exposure to Greenland's rare-earth resources. The real beneficiaries are Critical Metals Corp. and REalloys, which have active projects in Greenland. Both MP Materials and USA Rare Earth have solid long-term growth prospects through their mine-to-magnet strategies, but these are independent of the Greenland deal.
