Planet Labs' subsidiary Sinergise Solutions was selected by the European Space Agency to develop Slovenia's Space Resilience Node, a 12-month pilot project combining Copernicus data and PlanetScope imagery for automated disaster detection and response. The company continues expanding its government and defense market presence following recent wins including an $8M NGA award, a German government contract worth up to €25M, and a European defense contract.

Planet Labs launched 20 satellites via SpaceX's Transporter-18 mission, including its second Tanager satellite with hyperspectral imaging for methane detection, 18 SuperDoves for enhanced global monitoring, and a Google Suncatcher prototype. The launch marks PL's 40th successful mission and brings its total deployed satellites to 718. However, PL's stock has underperformed significantly, down 50.6% over six months and trading at a premium valuation of 11.89X forward price-to-sales compared to the industry average of 2.93X.
